Privacy Policy

Tipoos is a web development studio run by Gil Hamer in Israel. This policy explains what personal information tipoos.com collects, why, and what you can do about it. In short: we only collect what you send us through the contact form, we use it to answer you, and we don’t sell it, share it for marketing or track you around the web.
Who is responsible
Tipoos (Gil Hamer) is responsible for the information collected on this site. For any privacy question or request, write to studio@tipoos.com.
What we collect
When you use the contact form
- Your name and email address (required), and, if you choose to give them, your company, phone number, your message and the services you are interested in.
- Technical details that come with the message: your IP address, your browser and device type, and the time it was sent. We use them to block spam and abuse.
You don’t have to fill in the form, but without an email address we can’t answer you.
When you browse the site
We don’t use analytics, advertising pixels or any other tracking tools. Fonts and all other files are served from our own server, so no third party learns that you visited. Like any web server, ours keeps short-lived technical logs (IP address, the page requested, browser type) for security and to fix problems.
Cookies and local storage
The site doesn’t set tracking or advertising cookies. It stores two small settings in your own browser (local storage), and they never leave your device:
- tipoos-mode: whether you switched the site to dark mode.
- tipoos-consent: that you clicked OK on the cookie notice, so it isn’t shown again.
You can delete them at any time by clearing your browser’s site data. If we ever add analytics, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.
Why we use your information
- To answer your message and talk about your project. The legal basis is your request, and steps before a possible contract.
- To keep the site and the form safe from spam and abuse (our legitimate interest).
- To meet legal obligations, for example accounting records if we end up working together.
We don’t use your information for automated decisions or profiling, and we don’t add you to a mailing list.
Who else sees it
We don’t sell or rent personal information. It is only handled by the service providers we need to run the site and answer you: our web hosting company (where the site and the form submissions are stored) and our email provider (which delivers your message to us). They process it on our behalf and only for that purpose. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
These providers may store data outside Israel, including in the European Union or the United States. When they do, we rely on the safeguards the law requires.
How long we keep it
Messages from the contact form are kept as long as we need them to handle your inquiry and any work that follows, and in any case no longer than three years after our last contact, unless the law requires otherwise. Messages marked as spam are deleted regularly.
Your rights
You may ask to see the information we hold about you, and to have it corrected or deleted. Depending on where you live (for example in the European Union), you may also have the right to object to or restrict how we use it, to receive a copy in a portable format, and to complain to your data protection authority. In Israel, that is the Privacy Protection Authority. To make a request, email studio@tipoos.com. We will answer within 30 days.
Security
The site runs over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and access to the site’s admin and to submitted messages is limited to us. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Children
This site is meant for businesses and adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
